Hello all,

I had funlights on my v300. but there were some that had boring rythms and some only flashed my screen b/c v300 has no light for funlights.

I have used the Funlight Editor...u can search for it.

And poke around until I made my own Beats and flashes. U can TOO.

Here to kick off funlights V300.
- 3 files. one has Keybrd and external LCD flashing
- another with Keybrd only...for ppl who use the phone alot and keeps open.
- and one that has only the external LCD flashing
closed or opened and TXT msgs all keysbrd and LCD will flash.

put the funlight.pat under the audio folder and restart phone

hello hello

u may need to also delete temptone.db file in audio-dir after changes to audio directory........
-i beleive that should be needed so that ur phone refreshes directory

PLUS
-For event lights, diff from ringlights. U need to SEEM EDIT 0032_0001

You can find lots of info here in forum...find funlights.pat

+++ OH you need to rename accordingly to the file u want to use.
Rename my files name to funlight.pat before uploading into DIR, AUDIO.

hi hi hi

yes it will drain your battery if u have it over,over,over by playing w/ the lites.
but for sure less consumption than VIBE/RING, the lites again are LEDs so we dont need to worry too much.

There are file that has the outside LCD and keys blink, while other files has each LCD, or keys blink

I have try this with v400. v300, v525, etc. Instead of the actual lite it is mod to have LCD/keys flash.

Should work on any vXXX

If the front LCD were to flash it would go blue and black??? and for mine is a V600 so the circle LED thing would flash too??

ok still a little lost ok like i said i have ring lights and event lights on my v300.

and now like djdownhill said add the patterns i did to my audio folder and then restarted my phone but nothin happen. COuld be because i need to delte the temptone.db . Also by doing this does it affect anything i have saved on my phone

Remember to name the file to funlight.pat nothing more.

Then:

Upload the funlight.pat with p2kman here a/mobil/audio as shown:

Once uploaded, click the Update list button then go back to a/mobile/audio put the number 2 in the Attributes section, highlight the finlight.pat, click the change button, then click Restart phone. After the phone restarts go to ringstyles you will see a menu named Ring Lights just highlight and change to either of the options listed.

You have to enable the Ringlights option FIRST. Download the 0032_0001 seem with p2kman, open it up with moto-tool and put a check here:

Save in moto-tool, and re upload with p2kman.

Upload the funlight.pat with p2kman here a/mobil/audio as shown above ^^^^

I have both ring and event lights enabled and I am very familiar with modding but is there something I am missing?

Try this ONE It makes both the internal and external LCD's flash on my RAZR maybe it will do the same for your 505.

I have been trying to only make the outer dispaly flash only but have hit a brick wall in doing so. I'm tinking that the internal & external are runing both in conjunction and can not be seperated in way of funlights.

Still playing with it, but to be honest not really that much latley. I have Starburst working right, but as for the others I'm thinking the frame count is the problem Maybe. I started from scratch and I'm taking it slow as of now. I'll keep posting if I can come up with anything solid.

This is the one I'm working on. Again FOR ME anyways Starburst has been workin 100%. This one has the Bluetooth LED on when charging, 4 flashes of the Bluetooth LED when connected & disconnected to the headset. Starburst is the only option that has the screen flashing the others have the keypad & Bluetooth flashing only.

If it's not too much trouble could you post the seem as I haven't been able to get the funlight pat to work before & you posted the seem & I was able to get that to work via motokit .

Hi dj,
The seem came up with none as the only option .

But good news I was able to upload the funlight pat in motokit.

Now I get event lights working

Ring lights give me all the options

If understand you right I should only use Starburst ?

I have to wait for someone to ring me tomorrow to find out if my phone freezes & hangs up on them ,

I will keep you informed .

Mad ,

If you have Motokit it is easy to upload ( no seem edting needed )djdownhills's funlight.pat into audio folder .

He has put it in a zip file a few replies back.

Starburst works flashes outer lcd & bluetooth light.

Event lights work as well.

Remember to set phone & ringer ID's to silent before changing anything .

Switch phone off & on again once you have completed your changes .

Works for me.

Using Motokit I didn't have to edit anything just saved it to audio & it works fine I haven't done any seem editing .
Give it a try you have nothing to lose .

Just remember to backup in Motokit before you do changes then you can always go back to your old settings .

I have done it with my phone & it works fine .
seem editing is much more complex in my opinion .

Give it a try if it doesn't work you can try seem editing read through these forums there is plenty of helpful advice.

My phone is working with Starburst outer Lcd & bluelight flash .

Good on you for giving him another alternative .

I found it a lot easier in Motokit .

I am still learning from my mistakes though !!!!!

I hope he lets us know how he gets on .

well im gratefull to have this..

Very lucky indeed .
My V3 went for a swim in the toilet.
Unfortunately it drowned !!!!!!!!!!!
Replacement was $125AU in excess insurancec fees .
Apparently 60% of phones damaged go for a swim in toilets !!!!!!!!!!!

yes u can. Not to worry u but this is at your own risk.
I have copied the exact file on to my V635 and it works...even the flash lights up when call/txt comes.

Your V600 should work fine, you can have the outer LCD flash or not...u need to choose the file u want and rename it to funlight.pat and upload it to your a/mobile/audio folder. You need to have the ringlights enabled in the seem file also.
