Hi,

Got a wicked new phone, Nokia 6260. Everything works except my web browsing. Something in the settings I'm missing. Need help! Contacted Nokia N.A. and Rogers both were useless because the phone hasn't been released in North America yet. The manual isn't much of a help either. Can anyone help me out with the settings? Please!

For me, in Vancouver on a 6820 (XHTML capable), the
APN is internet.com, username wapuser1, password wap, proxy disabled
For a WAP gateway, use 208.200.67.150 Port 9201 and APN
goam.com

hey dude,

thanks for the replay however, your setting didn't work either. so far, still nothing with my settings. if you hear of something, somewhere ...anything that'll help me get web on this phone please forward.

you'd think rogers would be happy to help me out with this since i'll be downloading from them and paying through the nose

...my guess is that they're too busy to consider such things like generating revenue for their company.

Just call rogers and they will help you

...called rogers already as well as, nokia USA however, neither were helpful since they don't have the phone on file because it hasn't been released in NA yet.

The settings they gave me seem limited compared to the settings on/for this phone.

Hmmm whatever settings they gave you you should just plug thoose in and it should work, you dont have to fill in all the settings
