I feel like such a putz for asking help on this but is there any way to set a specific ring tone for a specific caller on the Sharp TM150? I followed the instructions on page 9-61 of the operation manual with no luck. I knew it was not just not me when I handed it over to my husband and he also could not get the ring tone set for a caller or to a "contact list entry in the handset memory". I am starting to miss the simplicity of my old Samsung R225. That little phone went through the washing machine several times and I could assign a ring tone to any caller...a feature I loved. Any help / input is greatly appreciated.

go to ur contacts then highlight the name u wanna assign. hit the menu button
then go to options. then go to ringtone. then select on. then go to assign melody and assign the ringtone u want and there it is. Make sure u save it under the conatct name tough....good luck

Contacts must be saved in the phone and not on the sim.

Thank you for your help. I followed your instructions to the letter and still could assign a ringtone. I felt like such a goober when I finally figured out the problem. I had entered local phone numbers as 123-4567. Once I changed the number format to 1-XXX-123-4567 I was able to assign the ringtone. Thanks again
