Hi,
I know that European version 902 and Japanese version is 902sh....
Now here's my dilemma: I got a 902 from France - SFR - still unlocked
and the strange thing is that the inner sticker says: 902sh! Did they ship the sh version for Europe too or what? So far I couldn't figure out the answer !...

It's a Japanese 902 if theres Japanese characters on the keypad.

dont worry, I bought mine from UK, and it says 902sh also.

Thanks, I was sure it's something weird but now I'm fine
because of all the problems which the sh's seem to have but still ,why the "sh" label?
PS: There's no Japanese character on the keypad
dont worry, I bought mine from UK, and it says 902sh also.
And did you manage to unlock it the non-sh way?

it's the Japanese numbering scheme, Japanese providers tend to have one line with the same model number, but is differentiated by a manufacturer suffix. SH, S, SE, H, N, CA, T, amongst others. But elsewhere in the world, they don't follow that scheme, or is dropped or moved.
Where as a phone maybe in the Vodafone Sharp 902 in Europe, in Japan it's the Vodafone 902SH, where SH represents Sharp.
