Sharp tm150 Caller picture id help ????

Hi, I searched a bit and could not locate a thread like this so forgive me if there is one. I know that on my sharp tm150 that when a caller calls, it will show there picture when you open the phone but is it possible for the picture to show up on the external display?? I have read that several people say it is possible but I have tried everything and cant seem to do it, is there anything specific you have to do?? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much

u have to put their # for example if the number is
654-xxxx

u have to put it with the area code as follows:

1-310-654-xxxx

If you have set up a picture to show on your internal display, it will also show on your external display. The problem is, you most likely have a Large picture assigned to your callers. The phone has to resize that large picture to fit in the smaller window on the external display. While the phone is resizing the picture, it will show the default "incoming picture" (one of those goofy moving phones) until it completes the resizing of the image. However, by the time the picture is resized, you will have most likely answered your phone.

Try resizing one of your pictures to 64 x 85 pixels (the dimensions of the external screen) in a photo editor. Save it as "Picture SM". Transfer it to your phone (picture ids have to be on your phone) and assign it to the entry in your contacts list. Have that person call you and you will see the picture pop up on the external screen. It will still take a second, and the picture will flash on for about two seconds, then it will go away and the number will scroll across the screen, then the picture will come back, etc.

This same thing frustrated me when I got this phone, I figured this out by accident, but now I have two pics of everyone in my contact list a big one that looks really nice on the big internal screen (great for showing off pics of my wife and kids) and SM pics that are assigned to the contacts and appear on the screen when a call comes in...
