Ok, well I joined the GSM world by getting a v330 and I cant believe that I can just go to walmart.com make a recording of whatever song i want and then upload it using bluetooth and it works, flawlessly

I came from verizon where you have to do a crazy amount of work to get that kind of stuff.

Now add the SKINS feature, and I'm amazed...

Now the question is..

Do I still need a data cable? or can I upload skins using bluetooth? Also whats the cheapest cable for this phone you've heard of ?

I know this isnt "the coolest" phone... but I gotta tell you it's amazing how customizeable it is coming from verizon phones..

first and formost, congrats on leaving the dark side (verizon) and coming to joining the jedis (gsm), although in my own opinion, and this is based on tests of my friends phones, cingular is better than t-mo in our area, and again, in my opinion, even tho its the same phone technically, the v551 is better looking.

to answer your question about skins, yes you need a data cable to upload skins, you can get one for under $10 on ebay, thats what i did and i've had no problems.

(i used 2 have a 120e for verizon before we switched to cingular and got my v551)

Yeah- I know cingular = better and the v551 does look nicer..

However, my cousin works for tmobile and he put me on his "family plan"... so I basically just cant abuse the daytime mins.. (make calls when i NEED to, but not bs on it) and it costs 10 a month... so I paid 75 for the phone.....120 for a years worth of service and im done

Im gonna go search ebay.. you dont have a link for the seller you bought from do you?
