My Slider have a "Rip" message in the screen, I don't have warranty, so I'm trying to resolve the problem myself. Anyone have any idea what to do (exept to sent it to the trash) ?

This may help, but since I can't get anyone to send me a dead slider to test it out, I don't know how successful it is.

First you need the Kyocera Wireless PST program and a data cable.

Once you have installed the PST bring up the Phone Configuration Settings Option.

You will need to have a GOOD slider available, as you will use the program to copy the GOOD config settings from it, and then transfer them to the bad phone.. I have seen it work a could times, but is not garaunteed 100%.

doing this will pretty much wipe the phone.. so the contact list will be overwritten.

ok... I have the cable and I backup the contact list... where I find the Kyocera Wireless PST program ?

If it works let me know.. If I could have gotten a dead one from someone, I would done a step by step pictorial on how to do it.
