In this case, it's stopping me from buying the 5600, as well. Someone posted this how-to guide on dust-proofing your 5600. It's not bad. And, it would appear that the poster actually TESTED this for quite some time before posting the how-to. I would try it myself, but I think it's inexcusable that I'd need to go through such measures. Plus, knowing me, I'd end up getting dust under the screen before sealing it back up again! |

My 6620 has dust galore but I can use a T6 to open and remove. Looks to be a little more complicated with the 5600. Shouldn't have to do this with a high end phone.

In regards to the 5600, it's my favorite MS phone and about equal with my 6620 as my favorite phone of all (that's available and supports 850). There are things that I like better about Series 60 and things I like better about WMS. The 5600 specifically has a nice screen, excellent form factor, great volume, decent speed, is feature packed and appears to be stable. Music playback is fine, video playback with Betaplayer is excellent, and I've found all my Series 60 equivalents for WMS. I've read some people's post who think the 5600 is ugly but I guess there is no accounting for taste because I think it's a great design- sleek, black with silver trim. Beautiful. I think I'll be running with the 5600 until the Nokia 6682 is out and I'll try that. But I think, THINK, that the 5600 is going to retire my very dependable, but worn out 6620. The lack of EDGE concerned me, but I loaded MSN on the 5600 with Opera and on the 6620 with Netfront (my preferred Series 60 browser) and the 5600 loaded the page faster. I don't tether, so I think I'll be fine for now.
