Hi all
Im confused about the email options I have on my Cingular mpx220. Is there anyway I can get email on my phone w/o having a internet data plan? Or w/o being charged for data at all?
Iv heard of some programs that send email from your computer (if it is on) to your phone in the form of a text message, or something like that.
Do cingular's xpressmail or push email (im not sure what that is) cost anything?

If you recieve data, any kind of data via GPRS you will be charge per kilobyte. With the text message thing you will be charged per text message if you don't have a txt plan.
So, if you set up your computer to be a server, or you download your email from a pop3 or IMAP server you will be charged per kilobyte. If you use cingulars express mail where you set up your computer as a server and your phone the client you will be charged per kilobyte. The express mail thing is free, its really not useful unless you have a corporate email account and can't download your messages directly from your comanies servers.

Well, if you really must have free email you could have your Mpx220 sync with microsoft outlook and download the messages to your phone.
