when i try to play music in the background and close the fone it turns off
anyway around this?

When I'm playing a video clip and shut my phone off, it keeps playing. I haven't tried it with just audio. When you are at the beta-player screen, click options>settings...>select page>player and make sure number 2 and 3 are checked. That might do it.
