Screen protector anyone?

I've never used one before on any of my pdas.
But since getting my 5600 candy bar, I thought I'll really need one this time.
I'm on my 5th cutout and it finally fits just right.
But this am, I had to peel it off as it became mis-aligned prolly from being tossed around in my pockets. It has happened before which I then spent the next few minutes cajoling (rubbing) it back into place. What is up with that? Anyone else have a problem with the plastic moving around, did I get the wrong type or should I cut it smaller still? Nothing worse than bubbles.

You know, I am on about my third or fourth week with my SMT, and I haven't been using one. I did consider it, may still do it (my wife asked to use my phone the other day- ear rings - eeek!).

Have you seen that Boxwave makes them especially for the SMT5600? Maybe that would work better. What are you cutting them out with? I considered cutting one out (even have a boxwave protector from an old PPC), but decided XActo+SMT5600 screen= too scary.

As far as the moving around, etc. I have pretty much concluded screen protectors are just generally kind of a pain. Yeah, I guess I'm a non-beleiver from way back (PDA user for the last decade or so).

I dont use any on my MPX-220 since it flips close but I did have them on my old phone (SE47 Slider).

The hard part with putting them on is getting rid of the air bubbles. A trick to get rid of the bubbles is to turn off the phone and then use a hairdryer (blowdryer, whatever its called) and heat it up a little. I wouldn't heat tit up too much cause I dont know what that could do to the phone but just heat it for a few seconds and then stretch out the screen protector and push out the bubbles, then heat for a few seconds and repeat until the bubbles are gone.
