Auto-check E-Mail works intermittantly

Another problem with Wifeys PITA MPx200! E-Mail is set to check every 15 minutes, sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas?

I've had the same issue. Occaisonally have to manually check, then its OK. Haven't tried with the new ROM though...

I dont own a Smartphone but have the SMT5600 in the mail. I read on another thread that every time you soft-reset or power off the phone it loses the setting to check your email automatically. Hence, after such an event you have to download the mail manually the first time and then it will start downloading automatically after that.

Hmmm I think you are onto something there! I have noticed that if I do a mannual check that it will then work fine until after I do a powercycle.
