SMS/MMS confirmations/reciepts on Razr V3

Ever since I abandoned the 40.79 sw, I get no audible confirmations when an SMS/MMS has been delivered to the receiver. Now I'm on 40.9DR sw, & it's still the same bug. Sure, I get the little screen telling me that it's been delivered. But to know, I have to sit around & wait for it to appear. No big deal of course, but still kinda annoying.Am I really the ONLY one to experience this? (Of course I've checked the option in the menu)

I've already asked around at Motomodders, without any result.
So I'd be very grateful for any enlightment in here.....
