Razr Keypad Malfunction

I have a 10 day old Razr and now the only button on the whole phone that works is the red one, every other one does not respond except occasionally I'll get it to work for a few seconds...Even the external keys do not work. I think I either did some sort of lock to it or the keyboard is broken. Any suggestions? Thanks-JV

Get a data cable and try flashing. Might fix it. I had problems with my old V551 and that fixed it for me.

Just take it back to the store, u should have warranty, if u didn't mod the phone.

I'm having the exact same issue. What gives? It was working fine one min and the very next call I made right afterwards and the phone goes nutso.

sounds like software problem, just flash it if u dont have warranty, or just take it back to the store if u do as said above

The exact same thing happened to one of my v3's. I called cingular and they XBM'd me a new one, and in talking to the lady she said this was a pretty common problem.

I went to the Cingular store today but I got the run around cuz I bought the phone from the website. Took 2 hours to get it all sorted out... which is why I bought if off the website. I'll glady wait a few days to not have to put up with those people and waste my evening away.

The only thing I haven't ruled out it the Motorola Phone Tools. I wonder if that caused the malfunction.

It must be. I had to get an XBM for the exact same problem.
