I'm using p2kman and trying to replace motomixer with videocamera. I've made the changes using XVI32 hex editor. After making changes I upload them to phone using the correct path /a/mobile/system/. I know they transfered because the attribute changed from 04 to 00. But when I download it, the old file is back. I know one is a backup so tried in reverse order reloading them. I've done this many times on a v600 with no problems. Anyone got any ideas??????

Thanks for the reply. I was trying the seem edit method found at http://motomodders.net/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=3706 . This states not to use p2kmenu as it has a tendency to mess up phones with a cingular flash. I was able to get the mma_dcp file uploaded to the phone properly. When I uploaded the mma_ucp, it appeared ok at first. But as soon as the phone restarted the file went back to having the motomixer in it and it's file size decreased. The normal file size is around 6k and it decreased to around 1.3 K! Phone seemed to work ok but what the heck is with this file decreasing in size. It's supposed to be the same size as mma_dcp. Apparantly there's another backup file or something elsewhere on the phone. I've looked but have been unable to find it.
