RAZR - Help required.

Ok. So I'm all 98r'd up, when I plug into my battery charger (Car and wall, not usb) the outter display never times out. Only if I turn it off, plug it in open wait for the screen to say battery charging, then close will it timeout.
Also how can I extend the video capture time?
