TM200 External Screen Question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Does anyone know if the external screen on the TM200 is better than the one on the TM150, or if it's the same one? The external screen on my TM150 is absolutely horrible compared to the ones I've seen on my friends' Motorola and Audiovox phones. I'm thinking of getting a TM200, but not if it has that same lousy screen.

Thanks in advance.

the tm200 is leagues ahead of the tm150 (and a lot of other phones for that matter) and you'll let something as small as the external screen turn you away from it?

I'm trying to figure out which moto and audiovox phones hes talking about. I can only think of the V3 and V635 for moto. The external screen is really only for caller ID and possibly self portraits, I wouldn't let it turn you away from the phone. The external screen on my 902 is tiny, but I don't care, it does what its supposed to do.

The Motorola V710 and the Audiovox CDM8940 are the ones I've seen recently. Their external screens are much brighter and the colors are a lot more vibrant. The external screen on the TM200 wouldn't be the sole deciding factor, just one of many I'm looking at. I've yet to find the perfect phone, but the TM200 is very, very close!

ahh, but you shouldn't count the V710 anyway since its a POS. J/k, glad the screen isn't the deciding factor

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with the V710. Bluetooth is so crippled it's nearly useless, it's really heavy, and it's not very easy to use. I have decided to get a TM200, though. I got a good deal on one on eBay, and hopefully I'll have it by this weekend!

let us know what you think of it when you recieve it

be sure to post photos from the phone aswell!

Just a reminder that the bluetooth on the TM200 is restricted. You can't exchange objects to other phones with it. Only use is headset and datatransfer to internal memory.

I was surprised that was on eBay for as long as it was! Most people want $500+ for these things! As long as I can transfer my phone book from my computer to my phone through Bluetooth, I'll be happy. My friend's V710 can't even do that.
