K 494 takes swimming lessons.

I had just made a call, at pool side, thought I put it in its case, and instead it was in my pocket, when I walked out past the pool, it slid into the pool, it has sat with battery removed for 2 days now. I tried to put the battery back in, but it just blinks on & off. Is there anything I can do to fix my phone. I have important numbers on it that I haven't got stored anywhere else.
Can someone please help me

OPen up your phone and put it in front of a heat sorce. A hairdryer should do the trick. Otherwise, you might need a new battery. If the blow dryer trick dosen't work, try pluging the phone in the charger without the battery. It should power on. If it dosen't, your phone is now a paperweight. If you have a data cable, see if the phone will respond. What serivce provider do you have?
