Friends,

I have got a UK version 902, but after setting up all Internet settings, I got the message "Internet service is not enabled" when I try to connect to Internet.

I have tested the same Internet settings in 902 Japanese version, and proved it is working good.

Any idea why?

Thanks

I don't have a problem with my fone at all.
Mine is Euro 902.
and it's on Fido

I had the same problem.
Allways "Internet service is not enabled"

My phone is allso Euro version (Austria version Vodafone A1)

We have here 3 providers.
I found, what is the catch. One provider is partner of Vodafone.
If you will insert any sim cards (JUST MUST BE FROM SOME VODAFONE PARTNER OR PROVIDER), this will works ok.

First of all access point name must be the same, which was in the phone when you bought phone. But just name. You can change settings inside but name must be the same.
Second proxy name must be the same, but just name. You can change settings inside, just keep the same name.

Keep the same DNS number.

And before you do anything you must do master reset.
Then you will get original settings.
Keep DNS number, keep name of access point and proxy.

I don't know maybe this will work with other sim cards.
In my country (Slovenia) this works only with Simobil (Vodafone partner) sim card.

Hi gregy74,

Will you kind enough to post your setting? Specially the name of access point and proxy.

Thanks

Where are you from?
If you are not from Slovenia like I, then my settings will be useless.

SETTINGS-MASTER RESET-RESET ALL-PHONE CODE (9999)
Then you will get back original settings (BUT ALL DATA WILL BE LOST)
If phone was unlocked, will still be unlocked.

Then just keep original names of settings, and change numbers and adresses inside this settings.

I have Access Point:
A1.net (gprs)
A1 MMS (mms)

proxy:
live! (gprs)
A1 MMS (mms)

You will get DNS when you will do MASTER RESET

Hi gregy74,

It won't work with my 902. Because after master reset, everything is empty!

I guess there must be firmware version that making the difference. Will all guys with 902 help to make a simple check?

Just press *01763*8371# and share the firmware version.

1) haha298 - V1.50H - Internet service is not enabled

Sorry, this code for firmware version don't work with my phone.

Soryy, but when I do master reset, I get full settings for A1 (austria vodafone-mobilkom)
