I use the clear silicon sleave when I travel. Looks amazing, but I have trouble sliding it in and out of my pocket. For that reason, I don't use anything while I'm at home.

$29.99 for that? man, they must be on crack because I've seen the same exact case on ebay with a Buy-It-Now price of $9.99 plus shipping.

I'm not saying that's what I paid for it... I got 15% off from TTAM coupon, no tax, no shipping charge, able to have delivered to my work & no paypal BS. Shipping from Ebay is a good way to get reamed IMO!!!

Well I do not have a Treo 650 but I do have a 600. I use the OEM PalmOne fitted case with swivel clip.

*update on my never ending search for the perfect 650 case*

well, after scouring ebay for the past four days tryinng to find the perfect case for my 650, here's what I ended up with.

this case fits my 650 very well and as you can see, it doesnt rob the looks of the phone but provides very good protection. it doesnt obstruct the phone's buttons which means they're easily accessible which is a nice feature to have unlike other cases I've used in the past that cover the phone's buttons which can make the buttons kind of hard to press.

no obstructions to the camera lens and the speakerphone sounds just fine.

the top of the case is open so you can still use the IR window if you need to and the SD card is easily accessible as well.

the bottom of the case allows the hotsync cable to be connected without any trouble.

-quick summary-

as I said above, the case fits the phone just fine and it still allows me to get alot of "ooohs and ahhhhs" remarks from people who see me out in public with the phone.

but as we all know, no case is perfect and this case certainly isnt no exceptions. from what I can tell, it only has two drawbacks which is whats keeping me from calling this a 100% perfect case.

1. while the case does provide very well screen protection, it does present a minor inconvience. the screen's outter borders can be somewhat hard to be activated by the stylis because the material on the case's screen protector is kind of thick so it does require me to have to press a little bit harder if/when I need to click on something thats on the very edge of the screen. oh well, thats no real biggie for me because I seldom need to do this task.

2. the case's swivel belt clip is the ratcheting kind which has always annoyed the hell out of me. oh well, thats just something I'll have to learn to live with.

-but other than ^ those two things, I really cannot find anything wrong with this case and I must say that I did get my money's worth. I have placed a link below to the person who I bought the case from on ebay if anyone is interested in getting one.

ebay seller who sold me this case.

Asthetics are a huge thing with me, that being said, that's probably the ugliest
case I've ever seen.

x2

Glad it works to protect the phone but man that thing is UGLY if you ask me. I just use the Treo 600 slipcase for my 650. Protected when I want it, nice and pretty when I pull it out. Wouldn’t mind trying one of the silicon skins though…

ugliest case you've ever seen?

heh, I certainly dont think so.

as a matter of fact, this is the first case I've ever owned that barely takes away from a phone's looks.

oh well. to each their own.

One thing I've noticed about many of these cases is how thick they are with the clip attached. Is there any removable clip that has a lower profile? The phone is quite large by itself, a clip that adds another 1" or so to the thickness makes it quite bulky. Thanks

lol - you've got to be kidding me...

that looks like something that you'd see around some gang member's neck while riding on a NY subway. :laughs:

Neck one is not for everyone of course, The Zipp clips on your belt loop, is made of metal and has a zip string that reaches both ears.

The TreoCentral S650 Skin Case I recently purchased seems to be the perfect case for me. It doesn't add much bulk yet it still protects my Treo from getting scratched and dented from daily use. The case is also quite grippy so I'm not as likely to drop it. I'm very satisfied with it.

I'm planning on using one of these, but my major concern is that I want a pouch case (vertical or horizontal <-- prefer) that will allow me to put my "skinned" Treo into it that offers a snug fit and good protection. I was directed to this SideKick II horizontal pouch by the member of another forum as a good fit for a skinned Treo... I'll let everyone know how it all works when I get everything :-)
