Hey guys, I upgraded to firmware 1.23 and lost every single one of my contacts. I have synced with my apple using Missing Sync with entourage conduits. Even the contacts in Entouragedo not show any of my numbers any longer either. Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get my contact info back? There is no way I would be able to get all that info back. It has to be backed up somewhere.

Also, another more minor problem I just noticed, the phone constantly says "Network Search". Any Suggestions?

This is rather strange, I thought the 1.23 fixed the constant search for network. The 1.21 had this problem. I hope you got the right version when you flash your Treo. Check your Treo and see if it is indeed 1.23. If you have 1.21 then get a copy of 1.23 and flash again. 1.23 came out shortly after 1.21 and may be you got 1.21.

I flash my PalmOne unlock Treo with this 1.23 and it works fine and I gain 3Mb memory. My signal was stronger too.

May be you could get another copy of 1.23 to flash over the existing software (even if the phone says it has 1,23).

I have 1.23 on my Cingular (Blue) Treo 650 and it works a lot better for me. I do not have constant network searching.

I have 1.23 too and it searches for networks much faster and its much more stable.

does it enable all the BT profiles such as DUN and OBEX file xfers?

It enables Bluetooth DUN, I don't know about OBEX, wasn't that already enabled on GSM models?

Nope, only profile enabled on mine is to swap business cards

And now, after a week, it says network search all the time now. I guess I'll redo the 1.23 again and hope for the best. Maybe I did something wrong today.....

The phone still works fine - no problems making or getting calls, emails, web access, messaging. Maybe it's just a cosmetic feature....
