7100G vs 7290

I was looking to purchase a blackberry.. and was stuck between the 2.... Is there any difference other then the keyboard... I like the feel of the 7290 but the 7100 is a much newer model...

The 7100g is newer to Cingular than the 7290 but Cingular had some exclusive deal on the 7290 while T-Mobile had some sort of exclusive deal on the 7100. They were pretty much released around the same time as each other.
If you'll search, you'll find that the 7100 has a speakerphone while the 7290 does not. The 7100 has better ringtones. The 7100's screen has one stage backlighting and is difficult to read in daylight (7290 has two stage and does not suffer from the daylight readability issue).
