is the jabra BT800 compatible with the smt5600 if not which headset is good with the smt5600
thanx

BT Headsets are compatiable with any device having the Headset and or the Handsfree profiles...Windows Mobile devices have both. So any BT headset will work with the SMT 5600. Remember BT is universal.

Which BT headset are you talking about? There are Motrola's, Jabra's, Logitech's, Cardo Scala, and alot of others. I use the HS810 and its great. I have a review of it and the Sony Ericsson HBH - 300 on my new blog. You should go to the BT headset forum for more information.

I have it used it personaly but alot of people say its a good headset and its comfortabe to wear.

I picked up one of these. The basic functions work with the 5600, but I couldn't get the caller id to work. The Jabra website says that the 5600 is not compatible with Smartphones. Of course it also says that their 250x series isn't compatible with Smartphones, but they work great.

If you're used the Jabra 250 style that wraps around the ear, you probably won't find the BT800 that comfortable, but if you like the Motorola BT headsets, you'll probably like it.

I also have the bt800 and pretty much everything works but I think Jabra is just passing the buck because caller id and ringtones through the headset actually works like 1 out of 50. Not much I know but its obvious it works it just doesn't seem to pick up the hands free profile correctly even though the 5600 does have it. I like the headset but the incoming audio could be louder and it does seem to have like a 5 sec delay on answer..

I am using the cardo scala 500 with my smt5600 and it works great. I am having no problems whatsoever and people I speak to on it say I sound clear and loud.
