Hey all,

I have a P910i (CDA162005/11 R4A02) and it seems I'm stuck with using the Chinese input methods (t9, etc). I did some searching, but I couldn't seem to find the answer... does anyone know of a method of being able to switch the input method language to english? I've downloaded the American English language files, but it still doesn't allow me to change the input language method.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I can't stand not being able to use the number pad to scroll through my contacts when the flip is closed.

Thanks in advance!

All this happen is due to Ezitap when you apply the crack ZiVkFep.fep. Okay, try this use your phone File manager (the one come with Tracker), go to C:\system\fep & delet this crack ZiVkFep.fep file , than reinstall Ezitap & replace back the crack ZiVkFep.fep, it should work because I had the same problem with you previous time & I figure out to solve it with this method, Hope this help.

Good Luck!

well... while that wasn't the exact answer i was looking for, it brings up an interesting point... on the handango website, it states that the newest version of eZiTap:

Sounds like its supposed to let you use your hardware keyboard when the flip is in the closed position and maintain an english dictionary for SMS and (hopefully) phonebook browsing. I installed the trial version of 2.03, and under "flip closed input method" it still lists only Chinese T9, with no option for eZiTap. I emailed Zi Corp, hopefully they can shed some light on this issue and the slight discepancy, as Zi Corp's own website makes no mention of this "new" feature.

If anyone else has any ideas, that would be great! Thanks again

I have a P910i just go to your control panel under text input just take the chinese off for the primary input leave it as NONE has for the T9 and Key board theres only chinese but that shouldnt be a problem in flip closed mode when txting. Just switch it to T9 Engilsih taping the * key switches Abc abc 123 holding the * switches T9 or Multi and holding the # switches english or chinese hope that helps. And if you wanna try and make it propriatary english goodluck cause ive been tring to find an input method for American English cause JOTTING with the chinese is a pain sometimes.
