Can anyone tell me the latest for PalmOS? I have two friends w/TREO 650's on T-Mobile. (unlocked phones) one has no connection issues (using current 2.x release from the site) on MSN/AIM & Yahoo. The other can get Yahoo and MSN to work, but AIM won't bring up her contact list or allow her to IM. (she has to use AIM express via the blazer web browser in order to use AIM)?

Anyone have thoughts?

I use VeriChat and it works great. It has Yahoo, MSN, AIM and ICQ.

I saw that, I'm not blind. I just downloaded it to my Treo 600 two days ago for free. So I know it can be done. And yes it is the full version, not the trial version, and I didn't have to register it.

he is referring to a "cracked" version. pirated software. this is not allowed to be discussed here. I would suggest to all of you that the discussion of this version of verichat stop before a moderator sees it and doesn't take it so lightly...

I do apologize. I was told about and when I did a search for it using google the first site I went to had it for download so I downloaded it. I didn't have to pay for and it hasn't asked me to register it. If's it's cracked I didn't know when I downloaded it. Once again I'm sorry.

besides, there is no crack available for verichat. After a month of use, you will be prompted to register. No register, no use.

I just installed: cc lite and Agile. Which is better? Why?

CC lite has caused my treo to reset both times I tried to allow it to run in the background (reset log says reset was caused while running ZLauncher, but I haven't had a reset in weeks, and it happened within 30 seconds of going to background mode), and agile doesn't even have this option. Can you not leave any messenger apps active to run in the background on the Treo 650?

Both of the UIs are pretty bad but usable. I like the data counter on Agile, though.

Is there another free messenging app that I should be looking at instead?
