mpx 220 backorder

ok here's whats going on, my mpx just quit i tried everything but it just wont turn on. so i call xbm and try everything again, i get told it would be a couple of days for my exchange to arive. well its been 3 weeks now, ive called back so many times i've lost count. i've been given the wrong tracking number and every time i call its the same thing we have your order, the phone is on backorder , sorry for the inconvinience, is there anything else i can do for you and thankyou for calling cingular . inbetween all those calls ive been laughed at, lied to , to get me off the phone. and told to call customer service and moto. costomer service said they dont know anything to call xbm. moto said call cingular. called moto again and they said ship it to us it will be 3 to 4 weeks and we'll ship it back even though i live ten minutes away from them. and i pay for all shiping costs. i need help im runing out of patience if anybody can help in anyway please let me know.

Going through the same thing, and I work for Cingular and called in my XBM on my COU Business line. Every time I call they say 3-5 days before they have them, and another 3-5 to ship them.

I finally called back today and got someone that was willing to send me the SMT5600 in place of the MPX, but I want to stay with my MPX.

Its already on its way to moto (charge port went bad) so I hope to God it will be back within a reasonable time....wish me luck.

Give up on the MPX through XBM, its not gonna happen. Check the thread about the free headset for compensation, and get them to send you the SMT, they CAN do it, don't let them tell you otherwise. Tell them you refuse to hang up until the problem is fixed, but be calm and cool about it.

I have no idea why it is taking so long for you guys.

I called XBM last week - given the story about backorder... but my replacemetn shipped next day via Overnight.

This was last week btw.
