Wirelessly posted (AUDIOVOX-SMT5600/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 176x220))

On the MPX220 you could type *#**364# and it would bring you to that menu. On the SMT you cant do it. is there any different number for it on the SMT

Anyone...?

Maybe the SMT 5600 does't have a engineering menu???

Isnt it a Windows Mobile Platform thing...?

Posted by: Omega2008

I don't think its built into the platform....I think the engineering thing is a manufacture type installation on the phone....I could be wrong.

****, is there any apps that show you what MNC you're on?

What functions are on the engineering menu? Now I'm getting curious!

Try CellTrack (http://celltrack.spv-developers.com/)

It tells you your active cell and the signal strengths of other nearby cells...

Just beware... Running it will eat up your battery life fairly quickly if you have it log your cells (it reports back at a frequent enough interval to never terminate your GPRS. So a instead of dropping 10% in a day, you will drop 35%...
