Space Bar?

Anyone know that when you hit your space bar key on the home screen (bb 7250 - Telus) it takes you directly to your phone menu. And, if you hit the space bar again it displays one number everytime!?!?! It doesn't make any sense where that number came from, and it certainly isn't the last call dialed.
Any ideas???

The first space bar hit takes to the phone. That's documented and normal.
However, my 7250 doesn't do anything if I hit the bar again. What view do you have setup? I have most recent...

I discovered the benefits of tapping it the first time and it will take you to the phone menu and/or it can be used to quickly turn the backlight on instead of fumbling for that little light button.
When I tapped the second time it took me to the last number I dialed out.
