I know that a few of you will flame me for this, but I already "Googled" and searched TreoCentral and searched archives for Ringtone, Midi, and Music, but stll didn't find a good answer. I want to use .mid files as a ringtone for my Treo 600. Which program, in your humble opinions, will allow me to read a .mid file on my SD card for a ringtone. I have Pocket Player w/light wave for my other files.

Hello Uncle Danny,
This is Kevin from palmOne. All MIDI files for use as ringtones are stored in a single database of ringtones on the Treo 600 itself. As far as I know, the MIDI files have to be properly integrated into the MIDI Ring Tones database and cannot be used from an SD card, directly. Of course, someone may correct me on that.
The palmOne Knowledge Library article
"Get MIDI ringtones on your Treo smartphone" describes the process for obtaining and enabling midi ringtones.
Hope that helps.
Sincerely
Kevin

The PalmOne article kind of lies... you can get ring tones off of the SD card.
First put them on your SD card, and name them something memorable.
Then fire up Blazer and open them by typing this as the URL: file:///path/ringtone.mid (of course replace path and ringtone with the proper things)
That will allow you to install them from an SD card.
