wireless sync palm category

Hello folks:
I just wireless sync (through verizon) to sync my calendar, emails, contacts etc ... when i do it doesn't sync the category. So for example if I create an appointment either in outlook or calendar on the treo 650 and list it under Business category that doesn't doesn't get sync'd up. Is this a known issue? I emailed verizon but never got any feedback.
