Hi!
Can someone please tell me that those normal Java games for S40 work for Nokia 9500 or not? Well, you see I cant try it myself since the set belongs to my cousin and he asked me to download few stuff ofr it. and i am not sure that Java games would work on 9500 due to its large display type. SO please help me out? and how would i install java on 9500. Thanks in advance. Bye

98% of java games work on all phones that support java so the odds of them working on the 9500 are good considering it has an advanced j2me framework. And try not to say 'please reply', seems too needy.

A k700 java game should work on your moto but I am interested to know how you are installing games to your Motorola E398

I have tried a few normal .jar files on my 9300 and so far got the game running on a quarter of the screen

Hi!

For uploading games on E398. You need Motorola Midway v2.8 (almost 600 kb).

Here are simple steps:

settings->usb settings->default connection->data/fax connection.

Then, goto settings->java settings->java app loader. it will ask you to plugin cable. Plug the cable and then start Motorola Midway. Then select file and upload. thats it.

If you get connection error then goto control panel->system->hardware->device manager->modems. there will be motorola modem right click and see what port it is using. goto motorola Midway and use same port. I hope it will be enough. bye

You forgot to 'Enable Java' as most network operators have disabled this feature

some just sit in a tiny corner of the screen, others are just messed up. some actually use the whole screen.
