only time can tell... it can run it cuz the software was beta tested on an mpx but who knows if they'll offer it. They'd rather you buy a new phone with the software... more money for them.

For now, the only guarantee of getting a wm5 phone is to get a phone with wm5 on it. But none are available now. As for upgrades, none have been announced.
