Hi sorry to bug you all but i need help. I just got a BB 7510 yesterday and i put in my sim card and it worked fine internet an all , but IM+ nor Verichat seem to work when i try to connect. So i popped in my fathers boost mobile sim card and tried to get on IM+ or Verichat and bingo it worked . So what my question is if i add the Basic Data Pack (10.00)to my nextel plan will i be able to sign on to IM+ or Verichat with that package added to my nextel services?

You need a blackberry specific data plan.

To add to martin's comment, if you do not add a BB specific data plan, nextel will add it themselves. Take a look at martin's BB faq's in the link in his sig. Everything anyone would need to know is in there. Hope this helps.

Better to add the unlimited plan your self as Nextel will add the limited plan and if you go over the data, it will cost you dearly. It happened to a friend of mine who thought he was. all of a sudden, getting "free" BB service. NOT!
