im having cingular switch out one of my mpx220's for a 5600 since i have two. the only question i really have, does the screen look better on the 5600 for movies?

when i watch movies on my mpx220 i notice the colors really don't look that good. i mean theyre good but they just look a little blotchy due to how many colors the device can display. can the 5600 display more colors? will movies look better without that whole 'cant display gradients very well' thing that the 200 has going for it.

No actually the MPx 220 has a 265K screen...the problem is that the drivers for video only use 64K of the colors...but it seems that Windows Media 10 uses all colors since I have noticed a better picture when viewing movies on my MPx 220 with WMP10. The SMT 5600 has 64K Screen and is .2" bigger than the MPx 220 screen....The MPx 220 screen IMO is sharper...but I wish it was bigger like the SMT 5600.

thanks for the quick reply omega. isnt the screen on the 5600 only .2cm bigger though? hopefully the next cingular firmware release for the mpx220 has wmp10 so movies will look better

right now i only watch cartoons on my mpx220 via betaplayer

It's 0.2" (inch) bigger! MPx220 has 2.0" screen and SMT 5600 has 2.2" screen! 0.2" equals about 0.508cm.
