Cingular SMTP Settings cwmx.com Not working, What else to do?

Just picked up a new Orange Treo 650 and am loving it so far... one problem. Unable to send mail through Versa-mail. I spoke with Cingular tech support and they gave me two outbound mail servers to try: cwmx.com and photo.mycingular.com. None have worked! What am I missing. I've searched HoFo and have found only the two mentioned SMTP settings.

Please help!

What kind of email account are you using?

Im using Earthlink's pop setting's.

I was able to get an outbound email sent this morning using cwmx.com. It must be a Cingular network problem here in NYC cause I tried again a while later to no avail.

Great phone though, wish the volume was a little louder.

Cool, It must be a Network problem, cause I use the same smtp settings.
