Can the Sanyo 5150 read *.qcp file? If so, does anyone know how I can download them to the phone. PCSPix.com only does it for Vision phones...

Unfortunatly, no one supports our phones.
I tried downloading files from *******.com and I got a text message, but no file.
However, there is hope!! It just costs $29 and involves downloading software.

Yup, the 5150 can only do over-the-air downloading the old way ("2G"). As of yet, nobody except Sprint knows how to host files for download to 2G handsets. The method for doing it for Vision phones is well-documented, but I don't know if we'll ever get our hands on the method for 2G phones.
This is also a problem for people with the A460 (another 2G phone) who want to put a "normal" ringer on it. Since Ringers & More only does "fancy" ringers, they're out of luck. (Though I have heard unconfirmed reports that the latest A460 firmware adds a couple of "normal" ringers.)
So yeah, the only way I know of to get pictures and ringers onto the 5150 is to use the data cable and Multimedia Master software, or do it via Ringers & More.
BUT, to go back to your original question, I don't think the 5150 can do .QCP files either way. I'm pretty sure the only sound format it can handle is MIDI.

well if the phone cant handle qcp, the only question that remains is whats a good site for midi files, both poly and mono?? I cant find any good sites. Everything wants to sms the file to me. Bah.

Here is a copy of my post from some time ago at another forum, but it does have a ton of midi sites with little or no popups:
I know I like to have cool ringtones (midi) for my phone, so I just want to share the knowledge... If the pages have demos available, those are great since they usually are less than 20k (scp5000 can fit 20 of these for rings). If the song you download is full length, truncate (cut) it with this freeware: http://www.anvilstudio.com
http://www.geerdes.de/mmc/eng (has demos)
http://www.midifarm.com/files/midifiles
http://www.mididb.com/
http://www.mystiqal.com/
http://www.aitech.ac.jp/~ckelly/mid...idi-search.html (great search engine for midis)
http://www.midimaven.com/hittrax.html (has demos)
http://www.vanbasco.com/midisearch.html
http://johnnyrico.future.easyspace.com (Music, TV, Movies themes)
http://home.epix.net/~sks/ (4350 midis)
