I just got my new 5600 smartphone. How do I set it up so that I will always have the speed dial icon appear at the top of the screen. It seems if I dont use it it for a while it get's replaced by other apps. Any help?

well how did you get it there on the MPx 220 or the SMT 5600 in the first place?

I am curious - why do you need the icon for? Once I set up my speedials, they are set unless I hard reset - and I can always access them by pressing the number for the speedial....

The icon was already there. I asked the question because if you can't remember which numeric key to press for a contact, you would go and press the speed dial icon. This opens the speed dial list where you can scroll down and choose. The icon only appears at the top of the screen if it was one of the most recent apps opened. If not you must press start, 9 , then, 8. Threes steps to find a speed dial. What can I do so that pushing one button pulls up the list?

Re arrange the start menu. Go to my blog and click the link for dchesters site, there you will find a regsitry edit to change it.

I think you can also go to , in File Manager on the phone, Storage\windows\Start Menu and move them around in the order you want...i thihk.
