Could someone be so kind as to help me out with a battery cover issue? I have been reading threads for a while and have not yet found anything but the tissue paper fix and that did not work. The little latch that holds down the battery cover will no longer come up through the hole high enough to hold the cover on. I refuse to tape together a $300 phone.

This all started when I called Cingular today to get international roaming added to my account. They said once I power down and power up the phone that it would be in service but neglected to mention that my phone would no longer function after I turned it back on. In my panic to fix the phone I removed and replaced the battery several times. I seem to have solved all my other problems and just need to get the battery cover to stay on until I can sell this nasty little phone. I can send in for my rebate next month, but will most likely get some sort of replacement this coming weekend. As previously mentioned, I don't do duct tape.

you probably damaged it somehow....you can get a new one cheep at www.cnn.cn......and its not a nasty phone....unless you have porn on it lol hahahaha

Well thats because you clicked on the MPx 200 not the MPx 220.

Oh

But the battery cover does not appear to be damaged in any way...it is just the little release tab that will no longer come up through the slot in the cover. I guess I'll order one and try it out anyway.
