Hello,

I've upgraded my european 1.340 to 3.45 asian, and made already all the adjustements necessary. Is it possible to play mp3 as a ringtone or do i have to convert them to wav?

I've copied some mp3 to application data\sounds and the mp3 aren't recognized, if i change the extension to wav they appear on the list.

Thanks

You should be able to play mp3, wav, and wma as ringtone.

The problem is that i cannot make an mp3 file to be recognized and assigned as a ringtone.

When you encode mp3s, just leave the default settings and see if it works: 44.1khz and 128kbits. Make sure your ringtones are located either in: \Storage\Application Data\Sounds or \Storage Card.
