yeah it will work, if your sim doesn't work u can get the phone unlocked. but it shouldn't be locked unless u get it from a different company meaning tmobile.

youll probably get the cingular phone - which is locked to cingular - but as was already mentioned - its easy to unlock it by yourself...

like i said - the phone is locked to cingular - all of them are locked to one network or another if you are buying it in the us (tmo or cingular) - but it shouldnt be too hard to unlock at all...
