How do I disable the password on the 7100R so that it wont ask for it every time. Went to setting and security no option to disable?

Thanks

You can disable the password or increase your timeout to 1 hour to delay how often you have to put in your password.
But if you are on a company blackberry server they could have a policy that overrides all of this and forces you to have a password.

^^If there is no option to disable the password, it sounds as if its a BES admin rule in the system. You can ask your BES admin to not require the password, but if its on there as is, then they probably won't take it off. This is one of the favorite security features of the blackberry, so that no data can be pulled off the device if you don't know the proper password (and of course 10 wrong entries wipes the device clean).

Its on A BES server, so I guess nothing can be done unless they remove it.
Thanks any how.
