is there any way to tell if the usb connection on my smt5600 is dead? i will plug it into a usb port on my computer but it won't connect. i've tried using the drivers on the cd, i've tried 2 different versions of active sync. i can't get it unlocked so i can use it with my t-mobile account.

this is really frustrating.

Does your computer make the USB connection sound when plugging/unplugging? If not, reboot and try a different USB port on your PC to start.

i've tried both of them on the front, and i know they work cause the phone will charge, it just won't make a sound and xp pro doesn't recognize that something is plugged in there.
