Batter life revisited... could it be profitmail?

I started one thread about my p910a dieing after 1/2 day with little use, and it appears today the same thing has happened. I am visting a client, got back from lunch and my battery is down to about 25%, and I did not use it very much. I used Sman to see what was running and noticed Profimail was running. Usually when I check my email in the AM, I exit out of it. This morning, as I was sitting in traffic, I checked my mail, and my wife called during the mail session. I never went back and exited out of Profimail.
Anyone have any idea if this app, even if it is not doing anything, could be killing my battery?

I've forgotten my profimail running on various occasions and never noiced a drastic impact on my battery life.
