Hi guys, I've been reading a bunch of these threads on this forum all day, and cannot figure out how to access the phonebook through bitpim or QPST (doesnt look like that is a feature). i have successfully connected to the filesystem using both QPST and BitPim, but have been unable to find out how to edit/access the phonebook. if anyone could lead me in the right direction that'd be greatly appreciated. btw, i've tried BitPim v.7.11 and v.7.8

well, the file system on ur phone must be diffrent from the phones we mostley talk about here. also, your phone book may be hidden deep in your file systm or it can be incripted.
becarefull, these phones are week when u play around with them

heres a better description of the problem im having:

i'm using bitpim .7 test-8

under settings it allows me to select Audiovox CDM-8900. so i select that
form com port, ive tried a few of them, mainly Curitel Packet Service Diagnostic Serial Port (WDM) (COM6) and Curitel Packet Service #222 (COM5).

when connected to COM6, I get nothing wtih the filesystem. when connected to COM5, the filesystem shows up and all. but nothing in my phonebook or any of that good stuff. so i go to Data -> get phone data, and it doesnt allow me to place checkmarks next to anything or select 'add' or 'replace' for anything. it does let me click okay, so when i click ok, i get this error:
