Is it NOT possible to unlock the c56?

that says you have to send it out, but if there are no clips available, how can a pro do it? i find this really weird- AGAIN- I AM NOT ASKING FOR AN UNLOCK CODE

It is possible to unlock C55/56. You just need the right sofware and a data cable. No unlock code necessary.

ok, so you know if it CAN be done with a code remotely?- im thinking about calling At&t-

I'm not sure what you mean by "with a code remotely". I know it can be done using software and a data cable. I don't know anything about any codes, sorry.

no offense, but you must not know alot about unlocking then- there are a lot of phones, mainly nokias that be unlocked just by typing in a code that is generated by the IMEI and carrier codes -

Yes, but we are not talking about Nokia, we are talking about Siemens and I never heard about unlocking a Siemens phone with just typing in sime kind of a code.

Goldhead is right. C55/6 can only be unlocked by data cable an software.
The only siemens phones that can be unlocked by a calculator (or remote unlock, as you call it

) are st55 and cl50
