A210 Bluetooth Adapter and 8940

I would like to use a BT headset to answer and originate calls but my phone doesnt have BT capability.
Has anyone used the A210 BT adapter that plugs in the phones socket with the CDM8940. Is it a way to get around the VW Bluetooth hassles and get rid of the wires. What are the problems you have encountered with this kind of setup? Is it reliable for answering calls if the phone is nearbye. Im not phased by having a short range but would like to put the phone in my handbag or backpack maybe.
