They took way too much on at once with the merger. Currently Cingular is trying to deploy UMTS in 15 cities by the end of 05. They need to work on there customer service and billing problems and integrate their ****** network before they worry about deploying UMTS. They have also failed because ATT deployed UMTS in 6 cities before the merger and they are so **** slow at completing their UMTS. Verizon has claimed they have EV DO in 32 cities, and I think its way more than that now, because we have EV DO now in Tallahassee, FL. Cingular has EDGE woop de doo slower than EV DO. Overall the only reason I like Cingular is cause its a gsm carrier. everything else about their billing and customer service is trash. When the contract runs out I will definately have T-mobile no questions asked because they won jd power and assoc. 2004 best customer service, plus its the only other gsm provider in the us. and they are planning to buy a large amount more spectrum in the wireless auctions coming up. T-mobile is def the number one carrier in us.

Don't forget to file a complaint with your state's government public utilities office. It may take some time but I have come to discover that it is worth doing. If enough people complain the state will take legal action. Unfortunately that seems to be the only way to get Crapular to listen. |
