i have a moto hs-850, the black one, and it connects for 2 seconds with my treo 650 then the connection is gone. it doesn't do that with my razr or anyone elses phone i've tried it on. do you guys know what bluetooth version is on the treo 650? any help is appreciated. i like the phone, but this is a huge problem for me.

i have the same BT headset and dont have this problem. the treo supports only 1.1 or the early version if those numbers are not right. later.

There is a known problem with the treo 650 and the hs850. I don't know exactly what the problem is but I know that I can't sell it to treo 650 owners. I personally use the treo BT headset from Palmone. I love it so far. I used the hs820 before but this is always connected. You may want to try it if you get a chance. Hope this helps

i think there is a defective batch... cause i have the hs850.. and never had that problem.... do you mean when your on a call it disconnects?? or you mean if it connects and after 2n second it doesnt connect no more? dont worry about it.. when a call comes in... when u answer it.. it takes 1-2 second to answer...... only draw back is if you want to make a call u just have to press the multi-function once to connect then make a call out..

i have the same problem, i have jabra 250, and it pairs correctly and everything, but after 2 secons the bluetooth symbol appears on top, (instead of the symbol of a headset like is supposed when its connected, i have to tap the call button on my headset, after i tap call, the headset gets connected, but if i don't make a call, it disconnects.

but i don't think its normal to be taping the call b utton, for it to get connected, or there should be an option to be always connected

I'm on my second Treo Branded Bluetooth Headset - this one echo's (to the listeners) as well!

Great phone - some minor instability issues but great phone. I read good reviews of the PalmOne branded BT Headset - its light, easy to use, good price - but it ECHO'S........ Why can't it just work right the first time?!

Anyway I'm assuming yours does not echo - or have you asked the people you talk to? Mine sounds really clear and loud to ME but echo's to others.

I hope I've bought two bad one's but I'm getting a little frustrated.....

Peace.
