when you downloaded all the stuff to use QPST there was also the curitel driver for using your phone as a modem...however, i've had no luck actually connecting. the curitel driver is listed under my modems and you can even query the phone...i even got the dang thing to dial out, but can't connect. i tried aol and hyperterminal...i don't know what's up

This could be the problem, you have to add a string to the modem settings, it's AT$QCMDR=2 .
