NEC 535m problem

ok, the other day i picked up this phone on ebay for $99.00. it's quite a nice phone with a really nice camera. Now i finally got t-zones activated and am trying to MMS some pics to textamerica and the stupid phone wants to limit the filesize of the attachments to 94kb!! most of these pics(1.3mp) are around 150kb. Is there a way around this?! (firmware, advanced menu....)
please let me know.
